but wait!  i’ve updated (added more pics) to my last post, NANCY’S IN LABOR.

but okay…

first day of life.  (:
looks like mitch, huh?

i woke up friday morning around 5 am and read a text from my brother:

“raylan euegene murphy born may 18 at 2:10 a.m.; 8 lb 3 oz; 20 3/4 in.  momma and babe both doing great.”

woo hoo!

i went to the hospital that morning to meet him.  ooo, i love him!

so it’s been about a week since raylan has been home now.  he’s being an awesome baby!  he kept his parents up the first night he moved in, but he’s been quiet every night after that!  i’m not sure what to say about him.  he pretty much just sleeps and eats.  he’s a good little fella.

and thank god for delia!  she has been a GREAT help to mitchell and nancy.  she fills in when nancy needs rest, and she is quick to change his messy diapers.  i personally love her being here because she’s such an awesome cook!  and on top of that, she prepares authentic mexican food.  (:
